On Monday, August 22, 2016, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late David N. Hamer; mother of John (Allison) Hamer, David Hamer and Dede Hamer. Grandmother of John Michael, James Andrew and Jacob Aaron Hamer. Sister of Jodel Ventimiglia. Also survived by many nieces and one nephew. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Thursday, August 25, 2016, from 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 805 Wayne Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 10 a.m. Interment George Washington Cemetery.
