On Tuesday, March 27, 2018, of Olney, MD. Beloved wife of the late Raymond L. Fanning; mother of Patrick R. Fanning, Karen M. (Glenn) Favreau, Michael G. (Jeanne) Fanning and the late Brian T. Fanning; sister of Evelyn Jones; grandmother of Derek (Amanda), Erin (Silas), Sean (Carol), Jenna (Aaron), Katie (Aaron), Brennan, Ryan, Colin, Garrett, Tara; great-grandmother of Grace, Ryleigh, Noah, Christian, Carter and Javier. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), on Monday, April 2, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter's Church, 2900 Sandy Spring Road, Olney, MD, on Tuesday, April 3, at 10:30 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Sincere condolences to the extended Fanning family on the death of Anna. I remember so much the pain & shock of Brian's death & the worry for her other son on 911. I met her at the swimming pool about 20 yrs. ago. We have tried to stay in touch ever since, despite our aging problems. She was such a sweet lady and a joy to know.
