On Monday, December 26, 2016, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Mary C. Plumley. Loving father of Carol (Doug) Ackler and Kenneth (Sherri) Plumley. Grandfather of Douglas and Keith Ackler and Lindsay, Collin, and Annie Plumley. Brother of Leota Cronemiller of Virginia Beach. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Saturday December 31, 2016, from 3 to 5 p.m. Funeral Service at Old Post Chapel, Fort Myer, VA, and Interment at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. My wife and I have been Cal and Mary's backyard neighbors for the last 38 years. They have always been wonderful friends and available when needed. Our condolences to Mary and the family. Cal will be greatly missed. Mary, we're always just across the fence whenever you need us!

We've lived in Woodmoor for close to 15 years and have always enjoyed seeing Calvin as we took a walk with our dog or our kids. He was always friendly. We will miss seeing him waving from his lawn chair. Prayers for your family.

To My Uncle Calvin,
I know you can now rest in peace, without any tubes or obstacles in your way. I'm so sorry your gone. But all the memories you have left behind will never be forgotten.
