CAROL ANN PRITCHARD
On Sunday, May 27, 2018, of Kensington, MD. Beloved wife of the late Howard T. Pritchard; mother of David (Vivian), Glenn (Ginger), Brian (Susan) and Douglas (Martha) Pritchard; sister of Alice Nelson and the late Ruth Campbell. Also survived by six grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD (Valet Parking) Friday, June 1, 2018, from 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Catherine Laboure Church, Veirs Mill & Claridge Roads, Wheaton, MD, on Saturday, June 2 at 10:45 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Of all my dad's relatives, I was closest to "Aunt Carol". I'll always remember her for her warmth, kindness, and friendliness, and how she kept our families close. I'll miss her. David, Glen, Doug, and Brian, my thoughts are with you and your families. May happy memories be a comfort to you.

Mrs. Pritchard,
There were many, many days I visited your home since grammar school for friendship, football (I eventually learned the first down line on the field is only on TV), food (you make a mean fried chicken), movies, picnics, and holidays. You raised four boys and showed by example how to be caring. Sometimes you told me directly what a good heart is and the lessons have stuck. My wife, having met you in recent years, told me she liked you very much. She would have liked Mr. Pritchard too and I wish she'd have known him.
Rest in Peace, Love, Wayne and Ying.
