Of all my dad's relatives, I was closest to "Aunt Carol". I'll always remember her for her warmth, kindness, and friendliness, and how she kept our families close. I'll miss her. David, Glen, Doug, and Brian, my thoughts are with you and your families. May happy memories be a comfort to you.

There were many, many days I visited your home since grammar school for friendship, football (I eventually learned the first down line on the field is only on TV), food (you make a mean fried chicken), movies, picnics, and holidays. You raised four boys and showed by example how to be caring. Sometimes you told me directly what a good heart is and the lessons have stuck. So sad that all of our parents are gone. May you sense God's Strength and Comfort as each of you take this journey. She has received her diploma and graduated unto her Lord. Prayers are and will be lifted for each of you.
