CHRISTINA LEE SPLAINE (Age 30)
Suddenly on Thursday, September 24, 2015 of Rockville, MD. Beloved daughter of Sam and Judy Splaine; sister of Ashley Splaine; grand-daughter of Patty and Clark Collins, James and Doris Splaine and the late Molly and Bill Keith; great-grand-daughter of the late Lee and Sam Sparacino; godmother of Marcelo. Christina also leaves behind many wonderful friends and her brother and sister Officers of the Montgomery County Police. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking) on Tuesday, September 29, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service at Aspen Hill Christian Church, Hewitt & Georgia Avenues, Silver Spring, MD on Wednesday, September 30 at 11 a.m. Interment Parklawn Memorial Park. No words can describe how we felt when we learned about Christina's passing. Our hearts go out to Christina's family, and we hope you can find comfort in all of the wonderful memories you have of Christina. She was an amazing police officer and role model for me and I am proud to have been able to call her my mentor and career inspiration figure.
