Daisy Gomez Sierra (Age 81)
On January 12, 2016 of Silver Spring, MD, originally from Cuba. Beloved wife of Herminio Sierra; loving mother of Marysol (Jose) Franco, Aracely Aguilar and Omar (Mary) Sierra. Grandmother of Carlos and Edwin Franco, Hannah, Grace and Annabell Sierra. Sister of Hortensia Eloisa Huerta. Visitation services will be held at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), on Sunday, January 15 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, January 16 at 11 a.m. Entombment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to further support and research for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) which is the disease that took Daisy's life to The ALS Association, Gift Processing Center, PO Box 6051, Albert Lea, MN 56007 www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com
