Regretfully, I am only just now learning of David's passing one year ago. I happened to google his name. When last I checked I learned that David had been a Chaplain during his career as a Priest. I know David when he was in the Pre-Sem. program at Mount St. Mary's then College which I attended from 1969 to 1972. He was a very good friend during that time. I remember how David knew any and all Motown songs. I am sorry to learn that he has left this life. We were the same age. I have very fond memories of the then young student David A. Mudd.

Fr Dave was a warm and caring priest at Holy Redeemer Parish. As newlyweds he invited us to a couples monthly Cana group. He guided us at each meeting by sharing his faith, humor and warmth. Thank you Fr Dave for how you helped me to know Christ better.

When I was a Catholic School Teacher at Holy Redeemer in Kensington Fr. Mudd was assigned to our parish. He came to my classroom once a week to teach a Religion lesson. He was a great Teacher and the children loved him. I will always be grateful for the support he gave my students and myself. May perpetual light shine upon him, may his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace!
