On Tuesday, November 14, 2017, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of Paul O'Donnell; sister of Douglas Franke (Terri); aunt of Joseph and Evan Franke. Also survived by the O'Donnell family and many friends. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Tuesday, November 21, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Andrew Apostle Church, 11600 Kemp Mill Rd., Silver Spring, MD, on Wednesday, November 22, at 10 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. I really appreciate the kind, heartfelt remarks from all of Edie's IBM family (I do recognize many of these names).
I am likewise grateful for the sympathy from so many of the Franke family expressed here.
Finally, thank you to the other friends and my family that also added comments.
I know you each feel your own loss, she had that effect on everyone.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Edie's passing. I worked with her on many projects at IBM. She was not only a superb teammate when working together with others, her delightful personality and wide-ranging intelligence shone through always on any topic, work-related or not.
