EDWARD PAUL JOHNSON (Age 94)
On Wednesday, October 11, 2017, a native Washingtonian, died peacefully at his home in Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of the late Mary Froio Johnson. Loving father of Alberta (Stan) Baker, Jo Anne Johnson, Mary Louise (Steve) Embrey, Paul (Linda), Mark (Amy), Michael (Kathryn) and Rosemarie Johnson. Grandfather of eleven and great grandfather of six. Relatives and friends may call at Our Lady of Grace Church, 15661 Norbeck Blvd., Silver Spring, MD, Friday, October 20, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., where Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Private Family Entombment. Just learned of Eddie's passing. Ray and I send you all our deepest condolences. Even though it's been decades since we've seen each other I still have warm memories of family visits. Always enjoyed spending time with Eddie and your Mom, and getting to know you all before we moved to New Hampshire. I know loving memories will help to soften your grief. My deepest condolences to the entire family. I was blessed to know Mr. Johnson for over 30 years. He was one of the kindest men I've ever met. He had a mind like a steel trap and I loved hearing all of his memories of D.C. and the surrounding areas. He was a man of God and loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, as evidenced by the beautiful family he left behind. RIP Mr. Johnson. You will be forever in my heart.
