On Thursday, December 31, 2015, of Rockville, MD. Beloved wife of the late Nicholas G. Pistolas, M.D.; devoted mother of George R. Pistolas (Marji), Nikki I. Jansen (the late Ben Jansen), Paul T. Pistolas (Susan), and James J. Pistolas (Brenda); much loved grandmother of twelve including the late Ryan Jansen; cherished great-grandmother of 12. MISS YOU Grandma SOOooOO Much !!! Lately you have been on my mind Non-Stop. Miss our daily phone conversations and the "sayings" you would say that ALWAYS made me Smile & Laugh. You ARE TRULY Missed. Happy Thanksgiving!!!!
Our First Thanksgiving without you. No words can describe the emotions on this day. Miss Holiday grocery shopping for you and coming over on Wed night before Thanksgiving making sure everything was set up and ready. Want to Thank You for making my Holiday memories SoOo WONDERFUL.
I truly hope to be able to do that for my family, like you have done for ours.
Im sure you already have your "Tom the Turkey" in oven and up cooking. Lol. I would give anything to have you here anyday, but especially Today.

Dear George, Nikki, Paul and Jim,
No words can adequately describe what a beautiful and wonderful person your Mom was. The love, the laughter, the incredible memories that she created, all were such a framework that surrounded our childhood memories. There isn't a holiday that her love and influence doesn't escape us. She was such a wonderful second Mother to me and my brothers and sister. We cherish the great times we had growing up in your house with your Mom. I know you must feel so sad; but I also know it must give you such great peace, to know that she and your wonderful Dad, are together again. I will always love and cherish her heart, and her laugh will forever be embedded in my memory. I wish so much that I could be there but know that I loved and cherished your Mom.
