Flordeliza Dannud Ebbay, age 56 of Silver Spring, MD, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2014. Beloved wife of Nicanor Ebbay; mother of Carla, Karen, Caroline and Nicole; daughter of the late Juan Dannud and Adela Dannud; sister of Felisa Marquillero. Flordeliza attended St. Paul University in Tuguegarao, Cagayan, Philippines, where she graduated with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing. She began her career as a registered nurse at the National Orthopedics Hospital in Quezon City, Philippines and later continued to work at Al Mafraq Hospital in Abu Dhabi, UAE for 20 years. She migrated to United States on August 2004 with her family where she continued her passion for nursing at Medstar Washington Hospital Center for 10 years and Medstar National Rehabilition for five years. Family and nursing were Flordeliza's joy and delight. She spends most of her vacations and birthdays traveling to different states with her family. She loved to collect handbags, stamps and coins. She enjoyed the movies and watching filipino TV shows. She always viewed life positively and she presented her kind attitude with and angelic smile. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Wednesday and Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. each day. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 805 Wayne Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, on Saturday, October 4, at 10:30 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
