GLORIA PEDEVILLANO (Age 83)
Gloria Marie (Casey) Pedevillano, 83, of College Park, Maryland passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at home, surrounded by family. She was born on May 10, 1930 in Washington, DC. Gloria, a devoted wife, sister, mother and grandmother, is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, John Robert Pedevillano; her brother William Casey; three daughters, Mary Borba and her husband Philip, Barbara Pedevillano, Anne Vucci and her husband William, and five grandchildren, Mary Pedevillano, Steven Borba and his wife Gabrielle, Amanda Pedevillano, Angela Vucci and Maria Vucci. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Friday, May 9, 2014, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at University of Maryland Memorial Chapel, 7600 Baltimore Ave., College Park, MD 20740 on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 10 a.m. Interment Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Gloria was such a beautiful caring woman. An amazing mom and grandmother. Always thinking and caring for her family and others ahead of herself. We are so privileged to have known her and spent time w/ her. Loved those times watching the kids play lacrosse and Gloria keeping Barbara under control on the side lines:)... Good times. She will always be in our hearts. And will always be caring for her family from above. Love you Gloria!

I am sad to hear of the passing of Gloria Pedevillano. My sympathies to all of her family. I am sure she will be greatly missed. I was recalling the many times I visited the Pedevillano home in my youth with many good memories. God bless.

Much love and many hugs to the Pedevillano Family. Gloria was a dear, sweet and lovely lady who was a great friend to my parents, George & Kassie Economos. Daddy & John were crewmates on their B-17 which was shot down during WWII, suffered as POWs, but always remained friends. Then their beloved wives became friends, too. May Gloria's Memory Be Eternal.
