GILDA LUCY POLLETTO (Age 89)
On Sunday, September 30, 2012, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late Francis A. Polletto; mother of John M. (Kathryn R.) Polletto and the late Pauline J. Polletto Wehling; grandmother of Matthew J., Travis J. and the late Elizabeth K. Polletto and Kevin F. Wehling; sister of Nan Richard and Natalie Marcucio. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD (Valet Parking) Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Historic Church, 9700 Rosensteel Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, on Thursday, October 4 at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Oh John, I am so sorry for your mother. She died a peaceful death.

Dear John,
Please accept my condolences on the passing of your mom. I met her briefly at Sunrise of Silver Spring while my own mother was there. One day the Director of Social Services there realized your mom was Italian(at least of Italian origin) and decided they should met over tea. They met and somehow with my help realized their parents may have all known each other way back in the 1920's when they all resided in DC. My own mother died March 29 of this year.
Incidentally you and I graduated from Northwood in 1970. I am including of pic of myself.
