JANE ELIZABETH ECKENRODE (Age 86)
On Monday, March 11, 2013, of Hyattsville, MD. Beloved daughter of the late Ernest and the late Viola Eckenrode; sister of the late Frances, Ernest and John Eckenrode. Survived by seven nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at St. Mark the Evangelist Church, 7501 Adelphi Road, Hyattsville, MD, 20783, on Saturday, March 16, 2013 from 9 to 10 a.m., where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment Druid Ridge Cemetery. Jane was our wonderful neighbor for just 4 years, yet she impacted our lives forevermore with her unrelenting thoughtfulness. During the ensuing years, she and I became close friends and I relied upon her holy wisdom for advice. I will so miss teatime at Jane's during my future visits to Washington, but I pray that I may one day be blessed to be with her again.
