MARY E. ROUNDTREE (Age 97)
On Monday, June 10, 2013, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late McCoy D. Roundtree; mother of Martha (James) Norton, Joe (Nancy) and Ray (Sandra) Roundtree; grandmother of Anne Marie (Jonathan) Ritchie, Eric (Xitlaly) Dietz; aunt of Dee Ann and David Edwards. Also survived by six great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Thursday, June 13, 2013, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where funeral service will be held on Friday, June 14, at 11 a.m. Interment Washington National Cemetery. As Board Member of the Metro Maryland Ostomy Association, Inc. let me express our condolence to the Roundtree family. I did not know Ms. Rountree personally but her work with this organization and her assistance to Horace Saunders, who was the founder in 1974, in supporting the operational side of the org. has been talked about by all those who knew her. We remain eternally grateful to all supporters and Ms. Rountree remains at the top of the list.
