On Wednesday, June 5, 2013, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late Earl G. Rutten, Jr.; mother of Dennis (Karen), John (LaVonne), Robert (Margery), and Jill Rutten; grandmother of Nicholas, Timothy, Bradly, Jena, Andrew, Elizabeth, Jessica Rutten and Jacob Wilson; sister of Nancy (Ron) Daar, Jack (Nancy) Williams and the late James (Pat) Williams. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the whole Rutten family. Sharon was a great woman and loving grandmother always going to watch all her grandkids sports games whenever she could. Very special memories.

When I think of Mrs. Rutten I always remember what a good cook she was. Growing up, whenever I was invited to stay for dinner or a sleepover she always put out this big spread of great food covering that kitchen table that Dennis had built in shop class. (and the same thing at breakfast the next morning!)
