On Friday, November 18, 2016, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late Irving J. Werner; mother of Janice Kern and Mark Werner; grandmother of Katherine and Caroline Kern; great-grandmother of Kinsley; sister of Ilah Parker. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, on Tuesday, November 22, beginning at 10 a.m. where Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Private Interment Columbia Gardens Cemetery, Arlington, VA. In memory and in celebration of Helen, a life well lived whom I have had the honor to know throughout my adult life. She was as an elegant, generous, talented woman, as well as a great mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. I am thankful to have had the times to be around her and will always remember her kindness and smile. She made this Earth a brighter and better place and I know she will do the same in Heaven.
