JANE ESTES (Age 92)  
Jane Floyd Estes, 92, formerly of Silver Spring, MD, died peacefully on December 9, 2014, at Sunrise Assisted Living in Alexandria, VA. Born on July 3, 1922, in Montrose, PA, she grew up in Washington, DC, and was a longtime Federal Government employee, retiring in 1983 from the U.S. Dept. of Commerce. She is the daughter of the late Frieda L. Avery and Claude William Floyd. Ms. Estes was the sister of the late John P. Floyd and Robert W. Floyd. Surviving are her brother, William A. Floyd (Beverly); nephew, Craig W. Floyd (Veronica); nieces Gail Floyd Robertson (Edward) and Jennifer Floyd Underwood (Malcolm); five great nieces and nephews; and one great-great niece.The family will receive friends Friday, December 12, from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Blvd. West, Silver Spring, MD. Graveside Service and Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 13801 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, at 1 p.m.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com
