JOAN G. BECK (Age 83)
On Wednesday, March 11, 2015, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late Robert L. Beck; mother of Kenneth, Richard, Carol, Dorothy and Mary; aunt of Brenda; grandmother of Christopher, Jennifer, Sean, Courtney and Katie. Also survived by two great grandchildren, Holden Robert and Hernando and other loving family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 9701 New Hampshire Ave., Silver Spring, MD, on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at 2 p.m. Inurnment will be at Arlington National Cemetery Columbarium at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church. www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

You were the best Mom a family could have. It was obvious you loved each and every one of us. Thank you for reading little poems to me when I was small. Thank you for getting me through my rebellious years and mostly thank you for taking me to church and teaching me about God. Thank you for teaching me what it means to be a Mother and now what it means to be a Grandmother.
