Rev. JOHN PATRICK McSPIRITT, S.T. (Age 86)
On Monday, April 30, 2018, of Adelphi, MD. Beloved son of the late Charles H. and the late Ann E. McSpiritt; brother of Anita McCudden, Catherine Kelleher, the late Marian McSpiritt and the late Charles McSpiritt. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and his religious community, the Missionary Servants of the Most Holy Trinity. Relatives and friends may call at Father Judge Missionary Cenacle, 1733 Metzerott Road, Adelphi, MD, 20783, Saturday, May 5, 2018, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, Ft. Mitchell, AL, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Father Judge Missionary Cenacle. www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

I worked for Father John in Dublin, Ga. he was was such a wonderfully spiritual priest. When my husband was in the hospital in Atlanta, he came for a visit and told me how special Bob was to him. My husband and I went to New Jersey and he took us to his sisters home for dinner. When he would be going to Holy Trinity, he would stop and spend the night. He was a special person in my life. I will always treasure our friendship and his caring. God bless.
