LaVONNE BLANCHE THADEN (Age 91)
On Sunday, June 28, 2015, of Shady Side, MD, formerly of Berwyn Heights, MD. Beloved wife of the late Malcolm V. Thaden; mother of Malcolm (Lorraine), James (Eileen), and the late Douglas Thaden; grandmother of Jimmy, Mark, Lisa, Bonnie, and Katie; great-grandmother of Tyler and Harper. Sister of Kay Keller, Algy Finke, and the late Doris Johnson, Donaleen Beyer, and Shirley Bush. Relatives and friends may call at St. Mary's Historic Church, 520 Veirs Mill Road, Rockville, MD, Saturday, July 11, 2015 from 10:30 to 11 am where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Dear Malcolm, Lorraine, Jimmy and Eileen,
I am saddened to hear of your moms passing and regret our absence to be with you at this time to celebrate her life. She was such a trooper. My occasional phone visits with her were always uplifting and fun. She loved to laugh....my favorite kind of people. She was always ready to share stories of her grandkids and how fast they seemed to be growing. Its fun to review pictures and remember our family get togethers oh so many years ago. I can picture in my mind her constant happy smile. I certainly will miss her and her lovely yearly Christmas message keeping us in touch with you guys.
