LAWRENCE JOSEPH KROPP (Age 61)
On Monday, October 26, 2015, of Ellicott City, MD. Beloved husband of Susan Kropp; father of Jennifer (Nick) Agrusti, MIchelle (Shane) Allen, and Michael Kropp; grandfather of Joe, Andrew, Brody, and Kylie; brother of Lenora Urie, Joan Kropp, and Bill Kropp. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Wednesday, October 28, 2015, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 4795 Ilchester Road, Ellicott City, MD, on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 11 a.m. Interment private. It is December 17, 2018 and I just found out that my dear friend and boss from years ago has died. Now I know why my emails were never returned. I am heartbroken and devastated to know that Larry is not with this world anymore, such a shock. He was such a unique and special person and so very, very generous. He was so GOOD to me all of those working years at Colonial, VBS, Mather/Morgan and Transamerica, the BEST boss I ever had in my entire life! I am so honored to have met, known and worked for Larry. He was a really good soul who brought the fullness of life and caring wherever he was! He was wise and fun, and for anyone he liked, he always had your back, completely. I kept thinking I'd run into him again somewhere in E.C., but it didn't happen. And, so I want to say how sorry I am for your loss, dear Sue and family! I know life must be so very different without Larry in it and for that I am deeply sorry. God bless all of you and those who loved him. May the good Lord Jesus comfort you every day.

I am going to truly miss my friend Larry. Each time we spoke he would always bring up a past memory of something great he introduced me to. He was happy and loved sharing that happiness with all he met. My thoughts and prayers are with the Kropp family during this difficult time. It's truly amazing how one man can mean so much to so many. Gone but never forgotten. We all will miss you Larry.

It is virtually impossible to limit a description of Larry's loss to a few words. He was such a great spirit. Nobody loved his family more. He lit up a room while often singing to those in the room or the bus or wherever music was playing. I will never forget being in Arizona and seeing him wearing a cowboy hat on stage singing with the band. I am sure Larry is in heaven undoubtedly getting autographs and pictures with Yogi Berra, Mickey Mantle and the other great sports figures. Knowing Larry he wants to share the stories with all of us. Rest in peace my friend. You will most certainly not be forgotten.

A way too premature end of a life lived in perpetual celebration. Larry touched everyone he interacted with each day in a positive way and always left us looking forward to our next conversation. I wish I had words to comfort the family. I know they will hear many times how great of a person he was to countless people. It's not often, sometimes it never happens, that a person like Larry comes into your life and changes things for the better. I know his focus was his family, and yet, somehow he found the time to touch so many lives in such positive ways. He will be missed dearly, not forgotten. Nor will he leave our daily thoughts, as we at TEB will strive to live and work in his honor and use his leadership to continue his legacy at work.
To his family, we won't be able to thank you enough for sharing this great person. Although we cannot know what you're going through right now, I pray you seek Gods shoulder for comfort and know that Larry surely be making all sing and dance in heaven as he smiles down upon his family.
