On Saturday, June 7, 2014, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late William Hoyt Ryder, Sr.; mother of Loretta Espey and her husband, Hugh, William Ryder, Jr. and his wife, Susan and F. Duane Ryder and his wife, Ann; grandmother of Denise (Sam), Kenneth (Johannah), Stacey (Earnie), Kimberly (Doug), Suzanne, Jennifer (Vinnie), Noah (Christine), Micah (Christina), Taghi (Bridget), Amanda (Ronnie) and Christian (Marissa); great-grandmother of Alexis, Bradley, Logan, Connor, Skye, Paige, Vincent, Payton, Benjamin, Samantha, Casey, Lauren, Zachary, Kelli, Emma, Jacob, Mikaela, Yael, Laurie and Grace Ann; great-great grandmother of Aiden. I worked with Peggy back in the early 90s at a day care and she was a wonderful person. I thought very highly of her, she was like a grandma to everyone. My prayers are with her family. Kristina

Mrs. Ryder was a wonderful babysitter for my daughter, Judy. She was always so happy and nurturing. Although many years have gone by, she was always in our thoughts. May she rest in peace. Joan Soder
