MARGARET ELLEN DICKIE (Age 79)
On Tuesday, July 12, 2016, of Bethesda, MD. Beloved wife of Robert W. Dickie; mother of Theresa, James, John and Robert; grandmother of Eva, William and Alexis. Born in Istanbul, Turkey, she was baptized and confirmed by then Monsignor Roncalli, now Pope Saint John XXIII. Margaret spoke seven languages. She was active as a Red Cross volunteer, Lay Eucharistic Minister, Sodality, and Scouting leader throughout her travels as a Navy wife. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD (Valet Parking) on Sunday, July 17, 2016, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anselm''s Abbey, 4501 South Dakota Avenue NE, Washington, DC, on Monday, July 18, 2017, at 10 a.m. Interment Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, (www.nmcrs.org).www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com
