On Friday, April 1, 2016, of Rockville, MD. Beloved wife for 62 years of John P. McMenamin; mother of Brian (Tammy), Liam (Rebecca), Kevin (Valerie) and Danny; sister of Hugh, Jim, Joe and Nan Dolan, and Rose McLaughlin; grandmother of Anna, Ian, Colin, Delaney, Riley, Drew and Sean. Preceded in death by siblings, Charlie and Andy Dolan, and Mary Boyle. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Thursday, April 7, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial at Shrine of St. Jude, 12701 Veirs Mill Road, Rockville, MD, on Friday, April 8, 2016 at 11 A.M. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. To one of the kindest, gracious women I've met, my friend, Peggy Mcmenamin. I am so grateful to have had the priveledge of taking care of you and John the last couple of years you lived in your home! You and I took many walks together, had shopping and lunch outings, visited a museum, did puzzles and even sewed a patchwork quilt together!! Even with numerous doctor visits and addressing various health issues, I never once remember you complaining. You were an angel!
You will be missed. May you feel peace and comfort in the loving arms of Christ!
