Maria Cristina Downey (Age 66)
On Saturday, December 30, 2017, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved daughter of Julia and the late Gonzalo Martinez; loving mother of Yvette (Terry) Pena-O'Sullivan and Jannette (Kevin) Morgan; devoted grandmother of Giovanna, Leianna and Makayla; cherished sister of Gonzalo, Julie and Jose. Also survived by many other family members. She was an amazing and beautiful woman and will be missed. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Church, 12319 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
