MARIE LOUISE YOUNG "Weezie" (Age 83)
On Tuesday, January 23, 2018, of Silver Spring, MD. Native Washingtonian, daughter of the late William E. Fee and Marie Louise Fee; beloved wife of 61 years to James A. Young. Loving mother of Linda (David) Dorsey, James (Alyssa) Young, Jr., Catherine (Matthew) Stohlman and Thomas (Suzanne) Young. Sister of Jane Baker and Jean DiPaola. Also survived by nine grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. Graduated Cum Laude Georgetown School of Nursing, served as Corporate Training Director at Garfinckel's of Washington, DC., and an avid crafter. Member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church for over 55 years, serving in many roles including CCD instructor, Co-chair Social Concerns Committee, and Archdiocesan Justice & Advocacy Council and Archdiocesan Care for Creation Committee. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Sunday, January 28, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Church, 9601 Old Georgetown Road, Bethesda, MD, on Monday, January 29, at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Charities Foundation, Archdiocese of Washington, 924 G Street NW, Washington, DC 20001.

To Louise's Family:
I am so sorry to read of the death of your mother, wife and grandmother. I met Louise many years ago, when I decided to take a part time position at the Montgomery Mall Garfinckel's Store. She was my instructor. We bonded, especially when we discovered we had both graduated from Georgetown Visitation. She was a lovely, caring person. She was always willing to help others. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers during this sad time. May Louise Rest In Peace.
