Mary Lou was one of the first people we met when CLV became our home. As a retired school teachers, Mary Lou and I hit it off. Her love and kindness to visiting children, it was easy to see what a loving kind, compassionate teacher she was. My grand daughters took to her right away and to Sofia she was Momma Lou.
An avid Rummey Kube player, you could set your watch by her. If it was 3PM, Mary Lou would be down by the pool to play. A loyal and faithful fan of The Conniticit Women, she watched all games. Mary Lou will be missed by all whose life was touched by her presence. Rest in Peace My Friend. We will meet again. Until then your 3 PM Seat will remain open waiting for you.

All the Whiteford girls will deeply miss our "Aunt" Mary Lou. We dearly loved her and have many, many fond memories of her at all of the events in our lives, big and small - baptisms, First Communions, Confirmations, Weddings, high school and college graduations, vacations to the beach, college orientations. The list is endless. She always had kind words of encouragement and was game for anything. Am so very thankful she and my mom met at Dunbarton 70 years ago! A true and loyal friend.

In the fall of 1965 I was a student teacher in Miss LeBlanc's third grade. I lived in Riverdale and walked to the school. Miss LeBlanc was a perfect supervisor - she encouraged me and most importantly let me "loose" with the class without hovering. In the Spring of 1966 I graduated from MD U and traveled that summer to Europe with a grad class. Miss LeBlanc arranged to meet up with me while in Paris and escorted a friend and myself to the Folies Bergeres. Her sister, Kathy, was with her. She was so gracious to us and of course we had a wonderful time. I still have the green and pink silk eye glass case that she gave me when I finished student teaching. I know Miss LeBlanc had an impact on many young lives.
