NEIL QUENTIN PORTER (Age 60)
On Friday, June 6, 2014, of Laurel, MD. Survived by sons, Jeffrey (Elizabeth) and Ryan (Jenny) and their mother, Elizabeth; grandchildren, Caleb, Molly, Silas and Jaina, as well as three sisters and four brothers. A Memorial Service will be held at Paint Branch Unitarian Universalist Church, 3215 Powder Mill Rd., Adelphi, MD on Thursday, June 12 at 3 p.m. Interment private. www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

Neil was and still is the love of my life. We met over a cup of coffee, so simple but life changing. He was doing a job where I worked at the time.He would stroll by my office and sing little songs as he passed. Lol. I miss him so much! Love and hugs for Ryan, Jeff and Liz.

It's hard to imagine a world without your smile and always upbeat disposition. Generous to a fault, you were always there for friends and family. Our relationship started in business but evolved into so much more. You were the brother that always had my back. You will be sorely missed by me and mine. Rest in Peace my friend- you earned it.
