On Monday, February 23, 2015, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late Albert Cruz; mother of Albert Cruz, Jr. (Jeanne Baker-Cruz) and John Cruz (Lisa); grandmother of Zachary and Chloe Cruz; step-grandmother of Christopher and Lisa Baker and Kim White (Kevin); great grandmother of Kaylee White. Also survived by her sisters Cathy Aragon and Dorothy Gonzales. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Thursday, February 26, from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Shrine of St. Jude, 12701 Veirs Mill Road, Rockville, MD, on Friday, February 27, at 11 a.m. Interment private. Your mom was a wonderful lady and a great friend to my mom Maria Benedetti. I always enjoyed seeing her when I visited my dad and St. Judes. I have very fond memories of her growing up and attending special occasions in my life. She will be missed. I will keep her and you and the family in my prayers.

I want you to know how sorry I am for your loss. I was so sorry to hear of your mother's passing--I have such wonderful memories of her. She was a beautiful person with a kind and loving spirit. Please know that Robin and I are praying for her and for you and the entire family. Your mother left a tremendous legacy of love and kindness that touched me deeply and I will always remember her fondly. May she rest in the everlasting peace of Christ.
