ROBERT DEVITT McCLEARY (Age 77)
On Tuesday, October 31, 2017, of Washington, DC. Beloved husband of Mary Lee McCleary. Loving father of Colleen (David) Bachman and Daniel Gibson (Mirla Del Rosario) McCleary. Devoted grandfather of Alec and Jack McCleary and Amanda and Nicole Bachman. Brother of Steven (Maureen) McCleary. Visitation will be held at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Sunday, November 5, 2017, from 2 to 4 p.m. Funeral Service at All Saints Church, 3 Chevy Chase Circle, Chevy Chase, MD, on Monday, November 6, at 10:30 a.m. Interment Private. Ken and I are so sorry that we did not learn earlier of Bob's passing. Being in his company was always a pleasure. He was kind, a good friend, with a wonderful wit and capacity to appreciate the best in all of us. He will be missed by so many.

God rest the soul of Bob in eternal peace. He was a loving husband and father, an accomplished gentleman, and a long-time friend since our high school days at St. Johns. I offer my loving sympathy to Mary, Colleen and Dan and their families. In their grief, I hope they can remember all the wonderful memories of Disney World, jazz festivals, and other great times.
