On Sunday, January 14, 2018 of Kensington, MD. Beloved husband of the late Marion W. Gauzza; father of Elena G. (Robert) Kessler and Roy H. Gauzza, Jr.; grandfather of Robert R. Kessler. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD (Valet Parking) Thursday, January 18, from 7 to 9 p.m. Graveside Service and Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 13801 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20906 on Friday, January 19 at 1 p.m. Those attending are asked to assemble inside the front gate at 12:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Montgomery Hospice, 1355 Piccard Drive, Suite 100, Rockville, MD 20850. www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

Recall how he was always available to assist us with anything that needed fixing. Had a great sense of humor with his dry wit; devoted to family and great patriot. One of those guys who experienced the Great Depression and became a strong American who really believed and appreciated the American Dream; a rare breed today.
