VIRGINIA T. ASCOSI (Age 95)
On Sunday, August 3, 2014, of Silver Spring, MD, peacefully passed away in the presence of her family. Beloved wife of the late Domenic N. Ascosi; mother of Andrea (Susan), Jeanne (John), Domenic, Jr. (Enma); grandmother of Nicholas; sister of Julia Wolfe. Virginia was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, a 25 year Federal employee, and a long standing volunteer at Holy Cross Hospital. She will be greatly missed by all. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace Church, 15661 Norbeck Blvd, Silver Spring, MD, on Friday, August 8 at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
