Not sure what to say?

Thank you to all of Dad's friends and family for your kind words of sympathy. Dad was an exceptional athlete as well as father and husband to us. There will never be another like Yale. He treasured his family and friends. We miss him so much.

Offering our heartfelt condolences to Janie & the Lary family. May God grant solace to the bereaved during this most challenging time. Yale was an amazing and talented man of integrity. He will be sorely missed. ~Al~NY

Janie: I still have wonderful memories of the Detroit Lions glory days and of course you and Yale were an important part of those times. Yale's mischievous smile, your style! My sympathy to you and your family.

Dear Janie, Robbie and Nancy Jane,

I was sorry to hear of your loss. While I never met Yale, I did meet his son a few years ago. It was a chance meeting downtown on the square in Gonzales and we discovered we were cousins. I met you, Janie, in Gonzales many years ago when you stayed at the home of my parents, Robert and Florence Boothe. I just wanted to express my sympathy to you at this time. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Robert Boothe
