No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve. Your dad was my driver's ed instructor - I was the only senior in his class and it was close to graduation - he called me to his office after viewing my grades and gave me a passing grade but made me promise not to drive right away...I was a country bumpkin and was afraid of driving. I remember your father with great fondness. He was a wonderful person.

I would like the family of Guy to know that my wife Kathy (nee Meader) and I were at the University of Florida and met Guy at the Newman Club. Guy, Kathy, and I became very close friends, and when Kathy and I were married in Washington, D.C. on December 28, 1963, Guy was our Best Man. We are very saddened to have learned of Guy's passing from reading the lastest University of Florida Alumni Magazine.

Our sincere condolences to Guy's sisters, daughter Dina, and son, Guy Jr.

Sincerely,
Jim and Kathy Vandelly
Centreville, Virginia

I was a graduating student at NMB in 1973 and I remember Coach Caretta as being a kind and caring individual. My condolences go out to his family and friends.
