Rebecca Taylor Obituary

Rebecca
Williams Taylor
October 17, 1981 - June 13, 2008
Rebecca is the beloved wife of Jesse Taylor, adoring mother of Brooklyn Taylor, loving daughter-in-law of Jay & Wendy Taylor, and oldest daughter of Michael & Christine (Davies) Williams. Rebecca is survived by her brother Cody and two sisters Lynsey & Hannah. She is also survived by her devoted grandfather LaVar Davies.
Born in Payson Utah, Rebecca was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and attended Donlon, Pleasanton Middle School, and Foothill High School. She played volleyball for Foothill High and Chabot College while receiving her degree at Los Positas College.
Rebecca received her CNA license and served years of compassionate service to her patients; a job she thoroughly enjoyed. She was also studying to be a Medical Transcriptionist so she could work from home raising her 3-1/2 year old daughter while her husband served in the National Guard deployed in Iraq.
Rebecca had a huge heart and an endearing personality. She was always willing to help those that needed it and touched so many lives with her indomitable spirit, faith, and gracious attitude as she struggled with her fight against Melanoma cancer. Her example will live forever in the hearts and minds of all those who were privileged to meet her and support her in pursuing that noble cause.
Friends & family are invited to the interment and grave-side service to be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Springville, UT at 11:00am, Friday June 20, 2008. Funeral service will be held Wednesday June 18th, 2008 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 6100 Paseo Santa Cruz, Pleasanton, CA 94566.
Memorial contributions are suggested in lieu of flowers to the Brooklyn Taylor College Donation Account which can be made by check sent to 3132 Paseo Robles, Pleasanton, CA 94566 or in person at any Wells Fargo Banking institution.

Becky.....
She was my neighbor and her younger sister was my friend. I remember Becky as being beautiful, with long brown hair and a smile that radiated through the room. God took her to a place where she will smile forever, and I can't wait to see Becky smile again.

I miss you Becky.

Words cannot express the sorrow I feel since Becky, one of my closest best friends, passed. My thoughts and prayers are always with the Williams family. It truly was an honor to have Becky in my life, her spunk, her beauty, her passion and love for people, the strength she had, her sense of humor and her easy-going nature will never be forgotten. In her short 26 years of life, she grew to be an amazing woman who had an understanding heart and smart head on her shoulders. I hope to become like her. Becky I love you and miss you soo much already!! You were always my favorite STAR.

I wanted to share my thoughts about Becky... She was so sweet and never complained once about having to suffer through this disease. She was in my ward in Saratoga Springs and for the short time that she was there, I was able to get to know her and see her smile that radiated. She will be missed and I know that Heavenly Father will watch over sweet Brooklyn and her daddy, Jesse. May the Lord be with you all at this time and may you recieve the comfort and strength that you need.
