Bill was truly a unique individual and a good friend. Over the last couple of years, we spoke of many things - virtually every aspect of our lives. The one thing I took away from these conversations was his deep love and concern for his children. You were truly the lights of his life.

I will miss him terribly. But I know - because of several talks he and I had - that I will see my friend again.

Bill was always a buddy to commiserate with. His perspective on things was always spot on, and I enjoyed talking to him about a variety of topics. When I last saw him in mid-December, he was still spirited and full of his wit. He showed great dignity throuhout his illness, and I am very grateful to have known him.

Bill was always such a help to me during my years at Centerpoint. He had a unique way of making me stop and think, teaching me without me even knowing it! I know everyone at Centerpoint is surely going to miss him and not just for his work! May God give you his family and friends grace and peace during this difficult time.

Bill was a pleasure to work with. He was so knowledgeable concerning the IBM mainframe environments. Bill always helped the Pipeline group; he never let the corporate "red tape" get in the way... Bill will be definitely missed!

My condolences to Bill's family from myself and my brother, Don Bridges. Don and Bill were close for many years and stayed in touch even after Don moved to Germany in the mid 70's. Bill and another buddy, Frank Trigg came over for a visit the last time Don and his family were in town we all had a great time reminiscing. He was a great guy and had a wicked sense of humor.
