Edwin and I were the first few students of TONY TORRES APONTE of urban jungle. The beginning of our "jiu-jitsu journey" started together, I am very proud of what he accomplished.

Anson and Erica, I want to tell you how sorry I am about your dad. He was a friend that will be greatly missed. He talked to me often about both of you and was so proud. I know this is hard for you, but know that you have many friends who are thinking of you and grieving with you. Love to you both.

I want to send a message to Ed's children, to tell them that their father was a dear friend of mine, a person who was very important in my life and to whom I owe a great deal of thanks for his good advice over the years. I am saddened and shocked by the news of his death. I cared about Ed. He was kind and generous in all his dealings with me and I appreciate all his good qualities.

To the Allseitz children,

I only got to speak to your father 2 times. At one point we both trained at the same muay thai gym in Houston. Your dad loved you guys very much. For such a giant, fierce fighter he had the gentlest of souls. The world will be a bit dimmer without him.

I am going to miss you Edwin. It was a great pleasure getting to know you at class. I enjoyed learning from you at every opportunity. You are a wonderful person, second to none and I just feel blessed for having had the time to share with you. God Bless.

Edwin, you were one of a kind. Always happy and that boisterous laugh!! You could make one feel very special because when you talked your attention was always about that person. You could analize anyone right down to their birthday and interests. You loved your children very much and wanted them to be with you always. You were not finished here on earth. I will remember the dance we had at Kelley and Chris's wedding. It was a special time for me to know what a great man you are. Thanks for the memories..
