Tom Lassiter Obituary

Services for TOM LASSITER, 65, of Conroe are set for 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at Metcalf Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Hayman officiating. Visitation is 6 - 8 P.M. Monday, August 4, 2003. Mr. Lassiter is preceded in death by his parents Harry and Hazel Lassiter, formerly of Conroe and Pilot Point, TX. He is survived by his wife Trudie of 41 years; two sons, Todd and David of April Sound. Mr. Lassiter was born October 19, 1937 in Denton, TX and resided in Dallas and Houston, and passed away Friday, August 1, 2003 in Conroe, TX. He was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Houston. He attended Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas and Texas A&M University. He served three years in the U.S. Air Force. Tom Lassiter was active in Rotary International, The Greater Houston, Hospital Council, The Memorial Springs Branch Chamber of Commerce, and was a member of the Board of Governors of the Federation of American Hospitals. He was active in hospital administration for 20 years, and was last employed by Hewitt Associates of the Woodlands as a computer trainer.
