Randall Chase Obituary

Randall "Randy" Wayne Chase, age 56, of Happy Valley, Ore., passed away from cardiac arrhythmia on Feb. 20, 2009. Randy was born in Nampa, Idaho, on Feb. 9, 1953, the son of Albert Russell Chase and Laura Odessa Nielsen.
He is survived by his wife, Lyn Chase, and two sons, Jonathan and Eric Chase of Happy Valley. Also, his mother, Laura Nielsen of Nampa, sisters Ramona "Dolly" Joseph and Katrina Tyler, both of Nampa, a sister Laurie Murdoch of Granite Falls, WA and a brother, Gary Driggs of Portland, OR.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
Randy operated his own business, Kellogg Creek Software, where he designed and wrote his own online computer games, SpiritWars and a presidential election simulation, Power Politics. Randy's several talents also included radio DJ, musician, magazine editor, technical writer and computer software columnist for The Oregonian newspaper.
