My condolences to MaryLou and the entire McCoy family. I read about the passing of Ron from clicking on the Liberty High School Class of 1956 web site. I had talked to Tony Murfin just a few weeks ago to get Roy's e-mail address, and I did write him. I hope he received it. He is with the Lord Jesus Christ now and is looking down on us all as we continue to pray for the repose of his soul and for his family to have the strength to carry on His work. God Bless you all.

I read this in my e-mail and read that great story about life. I feel the same way and tell my mom not to save things for good. She'd just be saving them for some one else. She hadn't thought of that. She's 88 years old. God Bless your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Marylou and family, please accept my sincere condolences. Ron and I
became friends in high school as we
were seated next to each other,
alphabetically, in the classes we
had together. Then, after high school we were in the same unit
during our six-month U.S. Army
Reserves training at Ft. Leonard
Wood, MO and Ft. Chaffee, AR. He
was my "ride" during those six
months. After that, I moved to
Texas and don't recall seeing him
again until June, 2005 at the all
1950's high school reunion. At that time, I had the pleasure of
meeting Marylou. I know he will
be missed. Please take comfort
in the 23rd Psalm.

My most sincere sympathies to Marylou and Ron's family and friends. We ere both in the LHS Class of 1956 and I always enjoyed seeing Ron at our class reunions. He was a great friend that will be missed by all who knew him.
He certianly put up a good fight to try to beat his health problems and I know that he is now in a better place with no more pain.

I knew Ron at a different time in his life. He was a member at Wesley Heights United Methodist Church in KCMO. What fun we had with him in our Sunday School Class!
Ron also shared his music with the kids at Minute Circle Friendly House. Those kids are grown and married now with kids of their own now, but they still remember the day Ron came and played his DJ Music for them! Rest in peace, old friend.

Ron and I were good friends in high school. We always had a good time on vo-ag field trips and at the FFA Conventions. He mentioned at the time that he didn't want to be a farmer and he wasn't. Ron and I joined the Army reserves and were together for six months active duty, summer camps, and other training. I only saw him a couple of times after I moved to Iowa in 1962 but will always remember him.

Marylou,
My mother, who will soon be 92 years old, asked me to send her condolences to you and Ron's family. My parents and Ron's parents were married in a double ceremony in 1933 and she wanted you to know how sorry she was that Ron had passed away at such a "young age".

Ron and I were close friends for over fifty years. We graduated from high school together, started bowling together, spent countless hours doing things teenagers do, and was my "best man." We logged many miles in his Ford covering much of Northwest Missouri. He will always be remembered by his loving family, bowling acquaintances, high school classmates, members of the church, many many friends, and me.
