Lord, we all live in a life that we have sorrow. As we lay down ours bodies to rest as you lord have send. We place our sorrow in your hands. To carry us through a dark time. Sorrow will be stilled as we carry love in our hearts. Love that have blessed us with. My heart goes out to the family. Blest is he that believeth in thee.

Dear Maxine and Family,
The greatest moment I ever had as an employee at St. Mary's Manor was when Richard pulled up in his Corvette and walked inside to get me and take me for a ride. It was still quite chilly outside, but we didn't have a care in the world as we drove around Blue Springs with the top down. My biggest regret is that I couldn't return the favor and give Richard a ride on my Harley. Richard and Maxine have touched my life in ways words cannot express. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I have a picture of Richard and I when he was at the Manor, it is proudly displayed among my most treasured possessions. Your beautiful smile reminds me of the beautiful person within. I miss you already!
Blessings,
Patty Styles-Phillips

Maxine and Family,
We were so sorry to learn of Richard's passing. You never know what to say at this time, but you know he is at peace and will always be in your heart. It sounds like his body just gave out. Although we will not be able to be at the service, our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family at this difficult time. Please take care of yourself. Our sincere sympathy.

Maxine and family,

I worked with Dick at Allied Signal (now Honeywell FM&T) for many years. I was a supervisor in Precision Measurement at that time. Dick was always friendly and helpful with whoever he dealt with at work. I enjoyed going out for lunch with him and Gary Akers (who still works at Honeywell) several times. Our favorite lunch was getting a tenderloin sandwich at the Main Street Inn in Grandview.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of loss.
