Allison, Danielle and Rob,

All of us who knew your mom will miss her. She was a pleasure to be with any time, from eating out to shopping at the grocery and at a garage sale where I saw her last summer. You three were lucky to have her and she loved you and her grandbabies very much. My thoughts are with you.

When my mother died last year, Betty Ann sent me a sympathy card, and I'd like to use her words from that card to comfort you. On the front of it was the Bible verse "cast thy burdens upon the Lord and he shall sustain thee. (Psalms 55:22)." Inside the card, she wrote, "my prayer for you is that your sadness will soon be replaced by fond memories of her." She closed the card by saying "Be good to yourself. Blessings, Betty"
