My heart is breaking for you and your girls. I am so so sorry that you all are having to go through this pain and sadness. Matt's aunt Margaret told me about little Lauren Monday nite. I wanted to call you and your wife so bad, but i really new that i could only say was I'm sorry. I know that we are not suppose to question GOD,but it is so hard for me not to. my little girl karlee beth was 20 months old when she went to heaven, it has been 30 months since i held her in my arms. i miss her so so much. i will be thinking of you and your family in the days to come, i cant give you any words of advice, i am still looking for them. i am truly so sorry. i know so deeply how you and your wife are feeling. please know that i am here for both of you, i may not be much of help, but i do know what it is like to lose your baby. people dont understand, everyone looses a moma,daddy,grandparents, but not a child.

I haven't had the pleasure to meet you personally, but feel like I know you. Lesli and I often chat about our children and motherhood. I remember when she called to tell me you were expecting twins. Words seem so inadequate to express my sorrow and grief at your loss. You have been in my thoughts and prayers constantly. Once, when my daughter Grace Ann was not quite two, she said something that has stayed with me. She looked up from her playing and said, “Mama, Jesus loves babies. He held me and played with me.” Since then, I believe as never before that children have a special bond with our Lord because of their innocence and faith.
