Gloaming is the time after sunset but before dark. When we journey along the sunray's glorious roads. The twilight mist concludes the days forgone. We follow the golden paths of light eternity.
It's like we walk into sunsets of our lives, and walk right into Heaven!! The clouds in the sky opened up a door on the evening of February 27th and our Dear Precious Jean walked into the sunset to her new life forever

To the family of Jean McGahey Purcell - I was saddened with the news Kelly shared with me of the passing of your mother, grandmother, friend. I have known the McGahey family ever since they were the pastors of the Assembly of God Church in Puyallup, WA. It has been a joy to know each of you. My condolences to Jean's family - please know our Lord cares about you and your feeling of loss for your mother - know that tears washes our eyes so we can see better that Jesus knows best - and loves you. Bert and I became good friends in Puyallup -but I also knew Jean. I was shocked and saddened when Kelly shared the news. My deepest condolences in the loss of your mother, grandmother,
and friend - but know our Lord understands your tears, your heart and your love for Jean - and He Cares.

There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of
power. They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are the
messengers of overwhelming grief, of deep contrition, and of unspeakable
love.

To Jean's Family: Jeff, Ryan and I Offer Our Heartfelt and Sincere Sympathy In Your Loss. I don't remember a time when Jean was not a part of and shared in most of the events of my life. "The Gramma's" (as we always referred to Mom and Jean) are together again and I'm sure all the old gang from Hampton Court had her place at the table ready and waiting for her to join them in a game of cards and bingo and catch them up on all the news. Imagine the fun and laughter!

We are going to miss you so much Aunt Jean. I remember our nightly Bible readings with you and Grandma when I came down when Grandpa passed. You came and stayed with Grandma while I was there and I'm so thankful for that time.
To all of my family, I am so sorry for what you are going through, there are no words to take the pain away. The words to a song come to me as they did when we lost Dad, "This world seems so cold and empty, someone please turn on the lights, Lord if there's an Angel you can send me, I sure could use one here tonight. "
I love you all and am wishing I could be there. So sorry I'm not. Leon and Debbie Clark Higdon
