Dear Pringle family,
I was so sad to hear of Coach Pringles passing. I was a student of his while I attended CCSU. I adored him in so many ways. He was a dedicated coach, fantastic teacher and loyal and fun friend. I listened and appreciated all his life messages he would share with me. I have made effort to try and teach my students in similar manner as Coach Pringle taught me. I will always keep him and these wonderful memories alive in my heart.
With sympathy,
Michelle-Shelton Ct

Coach Pringle spent one year in Avon, but it was a memorable
time, especially for those lucky enough to know him. I was a high school junior & played varsity basketball for him. He was one of the most positive and optimistic individuals I´ve ever known. He had a kind and encouraging word for everyone. I think he made a big impact on people during his short stay in Avon. I know he had a profound impact on me. RIP Coach

Mr. Pringle was my fifth grade teacher at Litchfield Center school. He taught us so much about science, math, history, and how to be a good person. He called me "specs" because I had to get glasses that year and they weren't stylish. That was 61 years ago. He helped students, and athletes.
Greg, Lon, Joshua, and Beryl, I am very sorry for your loss.

Years ago as a little girl who had recently lost her mom, I began spending some weeks every early summer, in Weatogue, CT, with Aunt Laura, Uncle George, and cousins Ronnie and Robert. A special kind of retreat, all were so good with me, and Ronnie took me under his wing. This teenager, busy building his own life, would play hours of hide and seek, show me his sports trophies, hike with me to the top of the hill across the road from the house, and would eat ice cream with me on the back porch at night, where we would sit, watching the light flash atop the Times Tower on Avon Mountain. We talked, and Ronnie was funny. He listened, as if my words were the most important, and mattered:
We grew up, went our ways, life came by, and we did not see one another again.
Beryl, we´ve not met, but I wish for you and your shared, extensive family, peace, in the happy memories of a man, my cousin, who was smart, funny, kind. God bless you all.
