Samuel Warren Obituary

Published by CLOSED-WHITESIDE FAMILY MORTUARY on Jan. 28, 2009.
Samuel J. Warren of Aberdeen, died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2009 at St. Joseph Hospital in Tacoma, of Type I diabetes. He was 23. He worked for his dad in Aberdeen. Sam went to Aberdeen High and wrestled as a junior varsity Bobcat for 2 years. Although Sam was a bit of a loner, he looked forward to phone calls with his brother Donnie and enjoyed family gatherings. He liked movies, science fiction, trivia, video games, and karaoke. He had an extremely creative imagination and loved creating characters and stories. Sam was a diabetic and had Asperger's syndrome. This was a challenge for his family and God used Sam's challenges to draw his family closer. He was extremely truthful and had an innocence about him that taught us all the value of loving kindness, patience and taking care of one another. Sam is survived by his mother Janet L. Warren of Tacoma; father Donald R. Warren and step-mother Debbra Warren of Aberdeen; sister Krissie L. Warren of North Carolina; brother Donald C. Warren and sister-in-law Shari A.Warren of Portland; grandparents James and Patrica Bosler of Elma; nephew Elijah D. Warren of North Carolina; cousins, who were like brothers, Mark and Jesse Bosler of Elma; step-sister Jaime Heise of Seattle; step-brothers Shayne M. Jasper of Tacoma and Aaron K. Jasper of Aberdeen and extended family. A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 6th at 1:00 at the Masonic Cemetery in Elma. A reception will follow the service at the Elma Eagles on 3rd and Young Streets. Please send all donations to: USAAA – US Autism and Asperger Association. www.usautism.org
