Elizabeth Roberta Jenkins

Bath – Elizabeth R. "Betty" Jenkins, 83 formerly of High St. and resident of Plant Memorial Home, died Friday October 29, 2010 at Winship Green Assisted Living following a short battle with Pancreatic Cancer. She was born in Bath on Jan. 30, 1927 youngest daughter of Arthur and Angelina Arsenault Jenkins and was educated in the Bath schools. Betty suffered a fall as a child that left her partially paralyzed, but did not stop her from living an independent, though challenged life. She worked at Bath Laundry, Dauphin's Taxi, and as a nanny for area families for a number of years. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Catholic Church.Betty enjoyed her time at the Plant Home visiting with friends and activities, walking downtown, and traveling to visit family. She is predeceased by her parents; two brothers, Clarence and Edward Jenkins; and three sisters, Dorothy Smith, Rita Marco, and Jeannette Warsowick. Surviving are many nieces and nephews as well as dear friends, Rick and Kathy Hart. A graveside service will be held Friday, November 5th at 11:00am at Oak Grove Cemetery, Bath. Entrance to the cemetery is off the Old Brunswick Rd. Memorial contributions may be made in Betty's memory to the charity of ones choice. Condolences to the fam
