I am so sorry to hear about Mrs. Laber. She was a delightful woman. I would see her at Southbury Medical Associates for her coumadin appointments. She was always so upbeat and a joy to see at her appointments. My sympathies to her family.

Lila L. LaberLila "Lee" (Watterson) Laber, age 91, of Danbury, CT, died Saturday, November 13, 2010 at her homeafter a two + years illness with Alziemers. She was the widow of the late Robert Stanton Laber.She is survived by son and daughter in law: Robert K. and Donna D. Laber of Danbury. Mrs Laber also leaves behind her granddaughter and husband: Sara and Stephen Young, and great grandchildren: Nicholas and Lucas Young, all of Washington DC. Lila was a 25 year resident of Heritage Village in Southbury, CT where she was an active and accomplished pianist for many musical programs, fashion shows and other events at the Village. She moved to the home of her son and daughter in law in Danbury in March of 2010. She was a graduate of Geneva College in Beaver Falls, PA. in the greater Pittsburgh area. Principally a home maker, she lived with her family in Darlington PA, Canfield, OH, Hamburg NY, Hopkins MN, Hinsdale IL, Old Greenwich CT, and Arlington, MA before moving to Heritage Village.Lila will be buried with a graveside service in the family plot in Beaver Falls, PA, Thursday. Hill and Kunselman Funeral Home in Beaver Falls is handling Pennsylvania arrangements.Read More
